Time flying by and its not even Christmas yet! Although it is the time of year when a number of EGTC things are happening – so here they are!

Saturday 28th November is the Club AGM and Prize Giving Event. This starts in the Pavilion at 9.00am and along with the riveting reports from your incumbent Committee, you get the chance to vote some new blood into the running of the club or, as is more likely the case, block vote through the sitting tenants on the basis that no one else can be bothered? Thank goodness that earlier in the morning you will have had the opportunity to take part in one of Alex's excellent Tri Yoga sessions! Those of you who came along during Oktoberfest will know just how good these are – although Alex suggests you might want to add an extra jumper as the Studio is chillier than the Pavilion? See you there at 7.45am?

At the AGM you can also purchase club kit at reduced prices as the stock room gets cleared out by new Kit Secretary Lorraine in time to order next seasons bits and bobs! Highlight of the morning will of course be the Chairman's Annual Report or maybe the bacon roll? Votes to be cast at the end of proceedings!

The following Saturday, 5th December, is the Club Xmas Party – but then you knew that didn't you?The Ravenswood have this year, for the first time ever, allowed us to invite those not joining us for dinner to come along at 9.00pm to drink, dance and enjoy the merriment – so why not put on your best dress and join us? Much earlier in the day you can have built up an appetite by enduring a Core session with Jan as she again subs for the skiing Kim! Think your hard core? Be afraid!

I will have details of all the 2016 Winter Grand Prix events at the AGM but here's news of the opening run – The Vale Gallop - which I know many of you enjoyed last year? Go to www.thevalegallop.co.uk
for entry details and look forward to seeing you there? Can I suggest that taking part in the Club Run sessions on a Saturday morning would be a good starting point for your 2016 event preparation? 9.00am start and Joan will put you through your paces! Details of all Club training sessions are on the website.

Finally, the 31st East Grinstead Triathlon is now on sale so put the 8th May 2016 in your diary as you will all be required to assist!

That'll do for now I think?
